They have been proven to be very mechanically robust and can survive the rough handling prevalent in typical baggage and package transportation.
Our solder inner-connect tags have passed 2,000 hours of thermal shock, negative -55C to positive 125C with zero failures. Our interconnect technology using solder is the most robust in the world. Competing technologies such as anisotropic and conductive polymer adhesives will start failing at 5 cycles.
